The Hong Kong Institute of Architects has announced three new leaders of the organisation. Vincent Ng Wing Shun was elected the president for this year and the next, and Rosman Wai Chui Chi and William Tseng Yen Wei have been named his vice-presidents.
A founding director of AGC Design Ltd, Mr Ng joined the institute in 1987 and completed a term as its vice-president in 2005 and 2006. He was deputy chairman of the Architects Registration Board between 2006 and 2008, and has served on government advisory boards, including the Harbourfront Commission and Urban Renewal Policy Review Steering Committee.
In his campaign statement Mr Ng said his platform was simple, “to serve the institute wholeheartedly with passion and integrity to create a better environment for architects in Hong Kong”. Ms Wai is a senior manager (environment) at the Hong Kong Housing Authority and Mr Tseng is a founding director of UrbanAge International Ltd.
