Hong Kong, 24 August, 2015 – Reed MIDEM, organiser of real estate and retail real estate events MIPIM, MIPIM Asia, MIPIM UK, MIPIM Japan, MAPIC and Retail Real Estate Market (RREM) powered by MAPIC, today announces the nomination of Julien Sausset as Director of MIPIM alongside two further senior management promotions.
In his new role, Julien Sausset will manage the MIPIM portfolio of events including MIPIM, MIPIM UK, MIPIM Asia and MIPIM Japan. He will report directly to Filippo Rean, Director of Reed MIDEM’s Real Estate Division.
Julien Sausset led the successful launch of the first edition of MIPIM UK in 2014 as its Deputy Director. He joined Reed MIDEM in 2005 and brings to his new role a wealth of experience in serving the real estate industry. He has made important contributions to launching MIPIM Asia in 2006, as the event’s Commercial Director and has led the commercial team for Asia Pacific, India and MEA for both MIPIM and MAPIC. Julien Sausset holds a degree in economics from Lyon 1 and an Executive MBA from HEC.
Two additional promotions have been made inside the company’s Real Estate Division. Béatrice Gravier is named Commercial Director for all of Reed MIDEM’s real estate portfolio, including MIPIM and MAPIC events. Béatrice Gravier joined Reed MIDEM in 1999 as Sales Manager and was key in the commercial development of MIPIM as its Commercial Director for MIPIM, a position she took up in 2010.
Sara Rozenfarb, after six years as MAPIC Commercial Director, has been appointed Director of New Business and Strategy for all of the Real Estate Division’s portofolio.
“Since 2005, Julien Sausset has played a major role in launching and repositioning MIPIM Asia and in the successful 2014 launch of MIPIM UK. His international experience and his strategic thinking will help us develop MIPIM to meet the needs of our clients and a real estate sector that is in perpetual evolution. With Julien at the head of our MIPIM tradeshows and Nathalie Depetro continuing to manage the MAPIC events, we have two outstanding leaders in place,” said Filippo Rean.
