Ronald Lu and Partners (RLP) is pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. M K Leung as the Director of Sustainable Design with effect from 1 July 2012.
MK is a specialist in green architecture and sustainable design. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong before receiving a Master of Philosophy from the University of Cambridge.
Overseeing sustainable design across RLP’s projects, MK has over 18 years of professional experience and integrates the principles of sustainable design in master planning, new construction, urban regeneration as well as research projects. He is also actively involved in government committees, academic and related professional bodies.
His recent projects include the newly completed Zero Carbon Building, the sustainable master planning for Hong Kong Science and Technology Park Phase 3, the transformation of Jockey Club Environmental Building as well as a number of research studies such as the latest Passive Design for BEAM Plus Upgrading and the Study for Design and Construction Requirements for Residential Buildings for Energy Efficiency.
