Street Party3Held at Island East, where the company was founded in 1972, the “Happy 40th Street Party” was a festive affair featuring live entertainment from local and international performers, games and a charity sale.

“Forty years is not a short time, but it is not incredibly long either, considering how we have grown into a household name in Hong Kong and beyond,” said Martin Cubbon, Chief Executive of Swire Properties, during the opening ceremony.

“Swire Properties’ reputation is based on far more than its buildings – we are also known for the long-term value we create for the communities we serve. We recognise ourselves as a valued member of a wider community and so it made perfect sense to share our milestone celebration with the public. We’re delighted to have the opportunity to enjoy a fun afternoon together and support some meaningful causes.”
