• Woods Bagot New Appointment – Science & Health Asia Sector Leader

    (27 August 2016, Hong Kong) Andrew Humphreys on board to Woods Bagot as Asia Science & Health Leader who is currently based in Hong Kong studio.

    photo_AndrewHumphreysAndrew Humphreys is an experienced healthcare architect with an extensive track record in the design and delivery of health & science projects in Asia, the Middle East and the United Kingdom. His experience encompasses major hospital design, specialist clinical department planning, scientific research laboratories and local community facilities. Andrew has overseen and led projects at all stages of procurement from new build full service commissions to advisory consulting roles. He combines a deep understanding of the clients needs and imperatives with an enthusiasm for high quality design solutions. His extensive experience in designing and managing complex projects and leading large multi-disciplinary teams is balanced with his commitment to delivering rigorous and innovative solutions for our clients.

    As Asia Science and Health Leader, Andrew will work alongside Global Science and Health Leader and Director Georgia Singleton, to grow the capability of Woods Bagot in both the science and healthcare sectors as there are significant synergies between these two specialisms.

    “I have been working on projects in the healthcare and science sectors for many years and I have a deep respect for the professionals that deliver services in these key elements of social infrastructure,” says Andrew. “I believe that by channeling this respect and bringing to bear a genuine passion for high-quality, evidence-based design we can deliver truly outstanding solutions to facilities all too often marred by bland, incomprehensible and even frightening spaces and experiences.
