    12 January 2017

(11 January 2017, Hong Kong) RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) announces the finalists for property industry’s highest accolades, the RICS Awards, Hong Kong 2017. The 36 nominations in 12 categories have been shortlisted. Winners will be announced on 17 March 2017 at the RICS Annual Dinner.

For six consecutive years, the RICS Awards, Hong Kong has recognised outstanding achievements of built environment professionals, while encouraging progress in property and construction markets through the sharing of best practices and globally recognised professional standards. The 2017 Awards received 57 nominations from a diverse spectrum of sectors within the built industry.

“The vibrant regional property market and business climate drove the property sector to produce some of the best works in 2016, resulting in the most competitive and innovative nominations we have ever seen at the Awards,” said RICS Hong Kong Board Chair Mr Clement LAU, FRICS.

Judged by a jury panel of 12 senior real estate industry leaders, the awards required professionalism, achievement, innovation and teamwork. “The jury panel went through a stringent judging and decision making process to shortlist the finalists,” said Jury Panel Chair Mr Alan CHILD, FRICS.

All RICS members in Hong Kong will cast their vote for the winner of the “Corporate Social Responsibility Project of the Year” award. The final result will be announced at RICS Annual Dinner and Awards Hong Kong Presentation Ceremony on the 17th of March 2017 at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.
