SHERA ply will be launching its green interior solutions for South-East Asia green building market, in effort to capture the unmet demand for less environmental-impact interior substrate material which is in compliance with international green building standards, at BEX Asia 2015 in Singapore.
The Thai Olympic Fibre-Cement Co.,Ltd. (Mahaphant Group, Thailand), the regional leader in fibrecement solution (FCSTM) technology under SHERA trademark, will commence a regional marketing campaign to promote its high performance fibre-cement material – “SHERA ply” in the event. SHERA ply is a non-asbestos calibrated fibre-cement panel that can be used as a replacement to plywood, MDF and particle board in interior decorative application, such as ceilings, walls and furniture. The product is fire resistant, mold resistant, contains no added urea formaldehyde (NAUF), and contains 60% of recycled raw material, thus helping to contribute to a healthier and safer building’s indoor environment. In addition to its unique performance, SHERA ply is also the 1st fibre-cement manufacture in Thailand that commit to continuously lessen its impact to the environment for the whole product life-cycle and disclose its Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) as per ISO 14025 (Type III) to the public.
SHERA ply has been well received amongst international green building projects as the product has low VOCs and contains no added Urea-Formaldehyde which is in compliance with international green building standard such as USGBC’s LEED, Singapore’s BCA Green Mark and Thailand Green Building Institute’s TREES.
After few years of pre-marketing activities, SHERA ply has been used in many regional leading green building projects such as Abu Dhabi National Oil Company’s Headquarter in UAE, National Heart Center and Capita Green Building in Singapore, AIA Capital Center, Unilever Headquarter, Toyota Deluxe Showroom and Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurants in Thailand.
The marketing campaign “SHERA ply Design Responsibly” aimed to communicate to the architects, developers and contractors on how the product can contribute to a better indoor air quality and environment will start with a three-day showcase which will take place at the Marina Bay Sands Singapore during 2-4 September 2015 at SHERA’s Booth N39, Build Eco Expo (BEX) Asia 2015.
