Shaw Creative Hub is a collaborative working space for film industry startups within the Shaw Studios complex in Tseung Kwan O in East Kowloon. The Hub provides space, support, backup technical facilities and much inspiration for the next generation of film-makers in Hong Kong.
Open areas provide hot-desk co-working arrangements for individual or group working while, around the perimeter, there are enclosed secured Team Rooms for start up companies to work in a more private, confidential environment.
Most of the co-working areas have a design theme of some specific cultural context that can be used as a backdrop for a film shoot: The Cha Chaan Teng (A Hong Kong style Teahouse); Cantonese, Japanese and French Restaurants; The British Library; outdoor urban settings as well as the contemporary office working environment.
