This year, ARCHIDEX broke new grounds, surpassed expectations, and set a new benchmark for the architecture, interior design and built environment industries.
ARCHIDEX became a powerful convergence of minds and markets – reaffirming Malaysia’s position as the region’s leading nexus for architectural excellence, innovation, and industry collaboration with 50,668 visitors from 110 countries and regions.
It was a epicentre for ideas, industries, innovations, and international collaborations, all staged over 6 exhilarating days across 2 venues, covering 36,700 sqm of transformative showcases. With more than 850 exhibitors from 12 countries and 6 international pavilions.
ARCHIDEX 2025 proved to be the pinnacle platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and market expansion, architected for a region on the rise. A Regional Powerhouse Under One Roof Held in conjunction with Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship and in collaboration with the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT), this year saw the inaugural ASEAN Real Estate Conference (AREC) 2025 held at ARCHIDEX.
Under its three pillars of Forum, Exhibition, and Business Matching, AREC welcomed high-level delegations from across Southeast Asia, China, and Timor-Leste, bringing together housing ministers, city mayors, top developers, and sustainability experts in deep discourse around affordable housing, climate-resilient infrastructure, and smart city planning.
The AREC exhibition in Hall 5A, featuring 20 forward-thinking developers, showcased Malaysia’s commitment to housing accessibility for all, while MATRADE-facilitated business matching sessions helped spark partnerships and investment opportunities, strengthening regional economic integration.
Transforming Cities, Transforming Minds This year, ARCHIDEX also extended its reach into the city’s soul. As part of Kuala Lumpur Architecture Festival (KLAF), we introduced the first-ever Kuala Lumpur Architecture Week (KLAW), where the public could experience 4 futuristic installations nestled within the heritage-rich streets of Old Kuala Lumpur, a powerful juxtaposition of history and horizon, past and future.
Inside the halls, ARCHIDEX @MITEC debuted FENESTEX, a dedicated showcase for cutting-edge façade technologies, while over at KLCC, the immersive World of Works (WoW) exhibit demonstrated the future of human-centred, integrated workplace design.
This was also where the Malaysian Institute of Workplace Design (MIWD) was officially launched, setting in motion a regional framework for functional, adaptive workspaces. Homegrown Innovation, Global Recognition ARCHIDEX is where forward-thinking technologies, sustainable materials, and future-ready solutions converge to shape the built environment of tomorrow.
The exhibitors brought bold ideas to life, and many of them walked away as winners of the coveted ARCHIDEX Star Awards, judged on design innovation, sustainability, lifestyle contribution, and technological excellence.
Many of these cutting-edge products are proudly Made by Malaysia, proving that local ingenuity is not only keeping pace with global trends but helping set them Where Visionaries Meet and Ideas Spark With the DATUM Conferences drawing in 3,340 delegates through thought-provoking conventions, talks, and forums, ARCHIDEX 2025 has once again proven to be the region’s most influential platform for elevating the discourse of design, architecture, and construction.
