• Riding the Tides: Hong Kong’s Oceanic Music Sanctuary

    22 December 2025

TIDES Hong Kong, conceived by LIVE NATION and brought to life by PANORAMA Design Group under the creative direction of Horace Pan, is set to become one of the city’s most immersive cultural destinations.

Inspired by the Chinese ocean goddess Mazu, the venue channels her golden light and tranquil command of the seas into a luminous underwater escape for musicians and audiences alike.

With a palette of deep turquoise, oxidized copper, and warm sunset tones, the interiors evoke a mystical voyage beneath the waves. Lighting plays a starring role, casting silhouettes and watery reflections across walls and ceilings, ensuring every guest feels transported into Mazu’s realm from the moment they arrive.

    A Journey Beneath the Waves

The main hall, designed with versatility in mind, hosts music performances at its core while welcoming art exhibitions, comedy nights, and community events. A reflective copper bar crowned by a glowing sun installation becomes a social anchor, echoing the serenity of a sunset over the sea. Above, the mezzanine VIP lounge offers intimacy and exclusivity, doubling as a meet-and-greet space or private club venue.

Secondary spaces—from artist dressing rooms to restrooms—extend the underwater narrative with high-gloss finishes, polished steel, and illusionary lighting effects, ensuring every corner resonates with the venue’s oceanic spirit.

More than an entertainment hub, TIDES Hong Kong is envisioned as a sanctuary for healing and introspection. It invites audiences to decompress, reflect, and reconnect through art and performance, offering a rare refuge for the soul amid the city’s urban rhythm.
