AttiaDesign’s Q-RACK blends timeless design with cutting-edge functionality, offering a durable, modular solution for bike parking and e-bike charging. Crafted in brushed stainless steel, the system elevates public and private spaces while championing sustainable mobility.
Located in Munich, Germany, the Q-RACK system is the brainchild of industrial designer Maruan Attia, whose background as a master car mechanic informs his precision-driven approach. Built from bruhed stainless steel A2, the station is weather-resistant, splashproof, and engineered for long-term use. Its neutral, polished aesthetic ensures seamless integration into both contemporary architecture and natural landscapes.
Universal Compatibility for Modern Riders
Q-RACK accommodates all bicycle types—from Dutch city bikes and mountain bikes to scooters and children’s bicycles. Integrated charging options support leading e-bike systems, including Bosch, Shimano, Yamaha, and Specialized, making it a versatile solution for today’s diverse mobility needs. Impact-protection rubber lips safeguard frames and wheels, underscoring the system’s user-first design philosophy.
The project originated in 2019 at the Industrial Makerspace Landsberg am Lech, where Attia collaborated with architect Edgar Bürger to retrofit bike racks into coworking infrastructure. Since then, Q-RACK has evolved into a modular, upgradable system recognized internationally, winning the Architecture MasterPrize 2024 (Best of the Best – Outdoor Products) and the BLT Built Design Awards 2024. Its inclusion in Architonic.com further cements its standing in the global design community.
By combining sustainability, craftsmanship, and architectural harmony, Q-RACK sets a new benchmark for bike parking and charging solutions. Whether enhancing public plazas or complementing private developments, it reflects a growing social commitment to healthier, greener urban living.
