
The new lease agreement was signed by Tim Blackburn, Chief Executive, Swire Properties (right) and Lawrence Lam, Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Hong Kong Limited (left), marking a new chapter in the partnership.
Prudential Hong Kong Limited (“Prudential”) and Swire Properties today signed an agreement for the expansion and upgrading of the insurance company’s premium office accommodation at Taikoo Place. Under this agreement Prudential’s total office space at Taikoo Place will increase to approximately 83,000 sq. ft., reinforcing the company’s commitment to Hong Kong and to Taikoo Place as its long-term headquarters.
Prudential has been an important part of the Taikoo Place office community since 2011. As part of its expansion plans in Hong Kong, Prudential will expand and consolidate its operations into One Taikoo Place and One Island East.
A ceremony to mark the signing of the new lease agreement was held at Taikoo Place, officiated by Tim Blackburn, Chief Executive, Swire Properties; Roy Shearer, Chief Financial Officer, Swire Properties; Don Taylor, Director, Office, Swire Properties; Lawrence Lam, Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Hong Kong Limited; Brian Chan, Chief Financial Officer of Prudential Hong Kong Limited; and, Viola Chan, Chief Human Resources Officer of Prudential Hong Kong Limited.
