• Call for Submissions CIC Innovation Award 2017

    Continuous innovation is vital to the sustainable development of the construction industry. Creative ideas and innovative solutions are recognised as important levers to effect growth and efficiency especially in today’s dynamic world.

    Henceforth, the CIC Construction Innovation Award aims to spearhead development of new concepts to enable continuous improvements in the construction industry of Hong Kong. It also aims to recognise and promote new technologies and scientific breakthroughs by both local and international academia and industry practitioners.

    Submission requirements can be found in The CIC Construction Innovation Award 2017 Application Form, which can be downloaded HERE.

     

    Applicants must submit application on or before Hong Kong Time 5:00pm on 15 August 2017

    The 280-meter-tall Lumina Shanghai, developed by Henderson Land Group and designed by Gensler, is the tallest skyscraper in the Xuhui Riverside District.


    A sophisticated yet modern setting was derived by juxtaposition of Indochine-Vietnamese features and wood-fire inspired material palettes. Re-interpretation of the spatial order of a typical Indochine-Vietnamese mansion has been adopted to give hierarchy, layers and details to the space.
