Zhuhai CCCC Huitong Hengqin Plaza is a 309-meter-tall business tower located in the financial district within the Guangdong-Macao in-depth cooperation zone in Hengqin. The tower overlooks Macao and distance from the Hengqin-Macao checkpoint is 5 minutes car ride.

The tower is topped with a parabolic moon-like crown symbolizing new beginnings, rebirth, and dreams, creating a clear and powerful identity along Zhuhai’s skyline. The design draws inspirations from the Zhuhai’s coastal location and the gentle curves of a sailboat and moon. The tower is accompanied by two luxury apartment towers which are connected by a terraced retail podium.

The idea of parabolic moon is also vertically expressed through the curtain wall and vertical sky gardens (one for every 15 floors) that also represent community and vitality. The material selection follows the principles of simplicity, quality, and elegance. The vertical expression of classical grey stone color tone and glass on the tower connects the earth to the sky, the podium is also textured in grey stone color tone to create a strong connection to the earth.

The material and details of the tower’s façade are echoed in gentle fluid shapes, and the stepped forms of the podium softened by the green roof and terrace. Additional design strategies including indigenous landscaping, rainwater collection, and efficient planning are employed to minimize environmental impact. The lighting design reinforces the verticality through various spaces – ranging from pedestrian experience, neighborhood sky gardens, and city skyline. The vertical lighting expression of the building intersects with the soft glow of vertical sky gardens on the building.
