More than 5,000 visitors and 51 vessels on display contributed to the biggest turnout at this year’s Phuket International Boat Show, held in January.
“Having talked to many people at the show, the feedback from exhibitors and the interest from serious buyers has been very encouraging. We expect there to be a lot of business done after the show,” says event director Andy Dowden. The 12th edition of the four-day event saw a record attendance. Guests saw exhibits from Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, BWM and Mini. “The quality of boats on display included many of the top brands from around the world as well as Thailand’s leading dealers and brokerages,” says Dowden. “With boats from 32 ft (9.7 m) to 112 ft, the variety was impressive.”
