The Sustainable Building 2013 Hong Kong Regional Conference (SB13 HK) will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Kowloon East Hotel on 12-13 September 2013. SB13 HK aims to gather experts in the arena of sustainable built development to foster exchange of latest technology and knowledge from a holistic approach.
With a theme of “Urban Density & Sustainability”, SB13 HK is an industry conference with an ambition to generate all-new insights into the balance between urban growth and sustainable development. Key areas to be discussed at SB13 HK will include the impact of urban density on individual’s liveability and the city’s economic growth; various town planning and social aspects including urban revitalisation, mega city and integrated design; government policies and visions; as well as latest innovations and labelling standards. A variety of regional and international case studies will also be examined.
The honourable guest, Mr Wong Kam-sing, JP, Secretary for the Environment, HKSAR Government, will deliver the opening keynote speech, while many other renowned regional and international keynote speakers will share their fruitful research and valuable insights in this two-day conference. A specially organised Conference Dinner and Green Building Tour of Hong Kong will also take place during the two conference days to provide different perspectives on SB development to participants.
