• Top Retailers Recognized and Honoured at Retail Asia Expo 2015 Gala Dinner

    Hong Kong, 10 June 2015 – The three-day Retail Asia Expo 2015 was joined by more than 10,000 of its retailing professionals to showcase innovative solutions and new ideas on how to excel in this fast-moving marketplace.

    After a spectacular opening on 9 June, the Retail Asia Expo 2015 Advisory Committee members announced the winners of the Hong Kong Retail Industry Trade Awards (HKRITA’S) and the 2015 Top 10 eCommerce Website Awards at the Gala Dinner yesterday evening. The Awards celebrate innovative leaders and their contribution to Hong Kong’s retail sector. Please see below the list of winning companies and individual.

    Hong Kong Retail Industry Trade Awards

    • HKRITA’S Industry Super Retailers of the Year: Land Crawford
      Founded in 1850, Lane Crawford is recognised as an industry 0794_D75_0552benchmark for innovation and its authority on physical and digital store environment to optimise customer experience. With its “Connected Commerce” strategy, it introduces an online omnichannel luxury lifestyle experience for customers in China. Hence, it is exposed to all parts of China and customers, bringing wide selection of fashion and lifestyle products to China. Andrew Keith, president of Lane Crawford and Joyce, received the prestigious award at the Gala Dinner, and presented to the attending professionals on how the successful launch of Lane Crawford’s omnichannel retail platform created a seamless experience for both online and in-store customers.
    • HKRITA’S Small Business Retailers of the Year: Museum CONTEXT
      With a focus of quality natural materials, Museum CONTEXT has been offering a wide variety of products that customers cannot find elsewhere. Only four years of experience in Hong Kong, it had showcased its product selection in different locations, where local customers, foreign travellers and expats residents can experience its story and value behind.
    • HKRITA’S Community Retailers Award: Banyan Tree Gallery
      As a marketing channel for traditional village handmade crafts in various of Asia, Banyan Tree Gallery do more than showcasing craftsmanship. The gallery shows great support to environment conservation by designing earth-friendly products. It also helps to sustain the craftsmanship and livelihood of local artisan through gainful employment.
    • China Daily Asia Pacific Retail Leadership Award: Bang & Olufsen
      Founded in 1925, Danish consumer electronics company Bang & Olufsen (B&O) opened an Asia Pacific Regional office in Singapore in 2003. The company has since then designed and manufactured a highly distinctive and exclusive range of televisions, music systems, loudspeakers, telephones, and multimedia products with a strategic focus on Asia.

Ten eCommerce websites were rewarded with this prestigious honour.
