TOKYO, June 2025 – Cheng Chung Design (CCD) marked a major milestone in its international journey with the official opening of CCD Tokyo, expanding the firm’s presence into one of the world’s most influential design and cultural capitals.
The Tokyo office joins CCD’s global network — spanning Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Beijing, Shanghai, New York, Singapore and now present in the heart of Japan’s thriving commercial metropolis — as part of a strategic move to deliver comprehensive, locally attuned design solutions across the Asia-Pacific region.
Held in a refined setting, the launch event brought together a distinguished guest list of real estate leaders, international hotel representatives, architects, designers, and creatives from Japan and beyond.
Among those in attendance was the Business Development Director of ROF Media, reflecting the company’s continued presence at the intersection of luxury, culture, and innovation. Their participation underscored ROF Media’s role in spotlighting forward-thinking design initiatives across Asia.

The new office also benefits from technological support through IDEAFUSION — a materials innovation platform developed by RARITAG — enabling CCD to enhance its full-cycle project delivery from concept to execution.
By entering the Tokyo market, CCD not only strengthens its Asia-Pacific footprint but also contributes to a dynamic dialogue between Eastern and Western design perspectives. With a proven track record in luxury hospitality and lifestyle spaces, the firm continues to build momentum as a next-generation design practice shaping the spaces where people live, gather, and experience culture.
