Global architecture studio Woods Bagot has shared their designs for a bold new destination hotel in Zhejiang, China, for Wenling Intime Hotel Development Co., Ltd.
The 300 m Wenling Sheraton, sited between two waterways, is scheduled for completion in 2019 and is intended to become a regional icon in south Zhejiang.
Woods Bagot says that views of the wetlands and mountains of Wenling will “ensure a quality guest experience” which includes waterfront dining, an observation deck and a pedestrian promenade.
In addition to the residences and guest rooms located within the towers, the project, which occupies a site exceeding 38,000 M2, includes a variety of dining options, a ballroom and conference facilities.
Other design highlights include the creation of a southern waterfront dining experience and pedestrian promenade, multi-storey atrium spaces in both the tall tower and podium, roof-top gardens, and a feature club and observation deck occupying the highest levels of the tall tower.
