(26 March 2018, Hong Kong) Knight Frank received the top real estate awards from the RICS for the seventh year in a row. At the RICS Hong Kong Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony 2018 held last Friday, Knight Frank was awarded Professional Consultancy Services Team of the Year for the fifth time. In addition, Knight Frank also received three Certificates of Excellence for Professional Consultancy Team of the Year, Residential Team of the Year and Young Surveyor of the Year. These awards recognise our determination, excellence and professionalism which enable us to provide a comprehensive service to our clients.

Professional Consultancy Services Team of the Year – West Kowloon Cultural District
Knight Frank has played a major role in facilitating the transformation of West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCD) into Asia’s arts and cultural quarter since 2006. Owing to Knight Frank’s deep involvement throughout WKCD’s development, from preliminary study through the planning stage to design and implementation, we have managed to retain our role utilising rich experience and interdepartmental expertise, innovative thinking, and seamless collaboration with the numerous parties involved.
Certificate of Excellence for Professional Consultancy Services Team of the Year –
CLP’s Argyle Street Redevelopment Project
China Light & Power Company (CLP), with a plan to revitalise its head office in Argyle Street into a residential development, had encountered a major hurdle when the Antiquities and Monuments Office listed the building as a Proposed Monument, together with a large land premium request from the Lands Department. Given the possible future redevelopment restrictions, Knight Frank has stepped in and brought the project back to life in 2017. Knight Frank team managed to negotiate close to 50% reduction on the land premium and introduced a consent document framework to streamline the land grant application process.
Certificate of Excellence for Residential Team of the Year
Last year, Knight Frank’s Residential team took the initiative and obtained sole agency for a luxury house located in the prestigious South side. Utilising the team’s extensive local market knowledge, global reach to potential buyers from across the world, Knight Frank has gained the clients’ trust and ultimately secured the sale – a 480 million Hong Kong dollar landmark deal representing both buyer and seller which is rare among international real estate agencies.
Certificate of Excellence for the Young Surveyor of the Year – Cyrus Fong
Cyrus Fong joined Knight Frank in 2016, he is a Chartered Surveyor with substantial valuation and advisory experience in the UK and Asia Pacific. Cyrus is one of Knight Frank’s newest leaders with exceptional project management skills, technical knowledge and professional conduct. His clients include Cheung Kong Holdings, Sun Hung Kai Properties, Henderson Land Development, Blackstone, MTRC, URA, Fortune REIT, Goldin Group, Chinese Estate Holdings, etc.
