Selected from hundreds of submissions worldwide, the finalists represent some of the most innovative and influential work being produced today. Congratulations to every practice, studio and team whose projects have been recognised by our judges.

This year’s shortlist spans 416 projects across 43 categories, including housing, education, culture, hotels, sports, and creative re-use. Renowned firms such as Foster + Partners, Snøhetta, Herzog & de Meuron, Grimshaw, Perkins&Will, Woods Bagot, and Sanjay Puri Architects join emerging studios in showcasing architectural excellence on a global stage.
Final presentations and awards will take place at WAF 2026 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from 18–20 November, where winners will be crowned World Building of the Year, World Interior of the Year, World Landscape of the Year, and Future Project of the Year.
