Throughout March, the citywide Sense. To Live five-senses journey will unfold across over 200 locations in Hong Kong, transforming the city into a sensory playground and delivering fresh lifestyle experiences for the public.
The public are invited to visit designated partner locations marked with activity signage, scan on-site QR codes to access the 330Day mobile page, and embark on a 1-minute sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch five-senses tasks amid familiar routes and scenes. These engaging activities encourage mindful observation of details and attunement to body and environmental cues. Upon completion, the system automatically logs experiences and awards electronic stamps; collect the required number to redeem exclusive dayday330 s premium gifts, “5 ways to well-being” coupons, and attractive shopping coupons or points from partners – turning March into an exciting blend of check-ins, gamified fun and sensory training.
Crafted with professional mental health insights, the initiative gamifies daily life by weaving in “focused and mindful” five-senses practices into existing routines. This nurtures observational skills and perceptual acuity in everyday life scenes, fostering greater awareness of personal states and emotional shifts.
MTR Stations and Malls Transform into “Five-Senses Awareness Zones”: Turning Commuting and Leisure Time into Mini City Sensory Games
“330 Day 2026” will collaborate with MTR to transform 88 MTR stations and selected MTR malls across Hong Kong into “Five-Senses Awareness Zones”, empowering citizens to elevate daily commutes or shopping journeys into personalised city sensory adventures. Citizens can simply scan QR codes on posters or digital panels at designated locations in stations or malls to access the 330Day mobile page, completing quick 1-minute missions to earn stamps and infuse interactivity and delight into their routine journeys. Guided by prompts focusing colour, light, scent, and ambient sounds, citizens are invited to pause and observe their familiar routes more closely. This practice encourages mindful engagement of the eyes, ears, nose and various body parts, gradually heightening sensitivity to both the urban environment and one’s own inner state.
Tam Jai International’s Two Major Brands Turn a Bowl of Mixian into a Moment of Self-Dialogue
TamJai Yunnan Mixian and TamJai SamGor Mixian are further elevating the five-senses experience by harnessing new technology in their branded mobile apps through the “A Bowl of Mixian Time” mission, inviting diners to turn an ordinary fast meal into a gentle practice of tuning into body and emotions.
Within the brief moment from waiting for the food to arrive, taking the first bite to finally putting down their utensils, diners are guided by simple on-screen prompts to notice each bowl’s colours and toppings, gently inhale the aroma of the signature broths, slow down to savour the layers of texture, and follow the progression of spiciness as it awakens the body from the tip of the tongue outward. What used to be a rushed everyday meal is thus transformed into a holistic five-senses journey, helping diners distinguish external sensory signals from inner feelings and fully immerse themselves in the most authentic, true-to-origin “TamJai flavour”, while enjoying a personalised half-time break in the midst of busy city life.

The Alchemist Cafe and cafe330 Launch Five-Senses Slow Dining Missions
Extending the journey from mixian tables to coffee and light meal settings, “330 Day 2026” joins hands with The Alchemist Cafe and New Life’s social enterprise cafe330 to launch five-senses slow dining missions. The initiative turns fleeting mealtimes into moments of self-dialogue and gentle check-ins with one’s physical and emotional state, reminding everyone that even amid hectic schedules, we all deserve a pocket of time to slow down for our body and mind. Diners simply log in to the 330Day mobile webpage in-store and, before and after eating, follow the guided prompts to pause, jot down a few words or quietly reflect on how they are feeling in the moment. Through these small “half-time breaks”, attention is gently guided away from life pressures and back-to-back tasks, and redirected towards flavours, aromas and bodily sensations; without changing any original dining plans, every meal can become a practice of reconnecting with one’s emotions and needs, and a nurturing exercise for body, mind and spirit.
eslite Five-Senses Art Exhibition: Exploring Bodily Awareness Through Art and Sound
In the realm of reading and art, “330 Day 2026” presents the Sense. To Live art exhibition at eslite bookstore Causeway Bay from 2 to 30 March, themed around sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. The exhibition showcases original works by recovery artists from a structured painting training and development programme, inviting visitors to slow down in the bookstore’s tranquil setting, linger over colours, lines and details, and at the same time notice subtle shifts in their emotions and bodily sensations. The programme supports artists with disabilities and in recovery to gradually strengthen both creative practice and aesthetic appreciation, while initiatives such as gift330 transform their works into lifestyle products, creating an inclusive, interactive platform that connects art with everyday life and the wider community.
The exhibition also collaborates with musician and artist Vicky Fung on a therapeutic sound installation derived from her song “Back and Forth”, allowing participants to adjust frequency and tempo according to their mood while the system responds to changes in heart rate and emotional state, helping them train sensitivity to sound and to their own reactions through attentive listening to rhythm and layers.
Complementing the exhibition, the 330 Day mobile page features eslite-exclusive missions: visitors to designated branches can follow simple on-page steps to unlock a series of five-senses mini-games — such as searching for specific elements in-store, “encountering” adorable characters, and matching images with colours — playfully honing observation, memory and imagination, enhancing focus and sensory agility, and adding eslite-only stamps and surprises to the overall journey.
In addition, the exclusive “Return to the Present with Five Senses” talk and mindfulness breathing workshop will be held on 8 March, led by New Life clinical psychologist Anneko Yau and musician and artist Vicky Fung, using breathing, mindfulness and sound-based exercises to guide participants in re-attuning to inner and outer sensations within the bookstore space, resetting amid a busy rhythm and experiencing the grounding power of returning to the present moment.

New Life Farm Half-Day Eco Experience: Step into the Fields to Reconnect with Nature through Scents and Touch
During 330 Day 2026, New Life Farm under New Life Association launches a half-day eco experience, guiding participants into farmlands, along field paths, herb gardens, and planting zones, to observe plant forms and seasonal scents while immersing in the distinctly different rhythm and air beyond the city. Starting with herb aromas, soil textures, and crop flavours, it features simple smell, taste, and touch missions, enabling participants to notice bodily reactions and present moment feelings through smelling, tasting, and touching.
Suitable for families, schools, and corporate teams, the experience incorporates collaborative activities, group sharing, and simple journaling exercises. This allows participants of all ages and backgrounds to use their five senses in a relaxed atmosphere to better understand themselves and their surroundings, Elevating nature immersion from a simple outing into a field experience that blends ecological learning with mind-body attunement.
Grand Finale: “Five-Senses Carnival” Concludes Sense. To Live Journey with Citywide Mindfulness Pledge
As the final highlight of Sense. To Live under 330 Day 2026, the Five-Senses Carnival will run from 28 to 29 March 2026 at MTR mall The Wai. By gathering the sensory experiences scattered across the city throughout March into interactive booths, it invites the public to revisit their personal Sense. To Live journey under one roof. Through gamified missions and photo-taking moments, participants can reflect on their observations and shifts in perspective in the past month, and discover how sensory details shape their mood and well-being.
The closing ceremony on 29 March will offer a ritualistic conclusion to this year’s city-wide Sense.
To Live five-senses journey. By fostering connection and sharing, the event acts as the city’s collective “Mindfulness Pledge,” encouraging citizens to continue tuning into their senses and inner feelings in everyday life.
New Life: Driving Community Mental Health through Five-Senses Training and Awareness 330 Day 2026’s Sense. To Live is a citywide initiative spanning through March, guiding the public through sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch experiences in familiar settings to actively observe surroundings and inner feelings, cultivating conscious daily awareness that seamlessly integrates “feeling” into life.
This year’s theme evolves from “micro-rest, fine sense, reconnection” to “fine perception drives connection,” emphasising accessible, practical, short-duration five-senses training to heighten sensitivity to stress and emotional fluctuations for earlier regulation and support. It also encourages daily “micro-breaks,” fostering long-term body-mind relaxation, personal emotional resilience, and a robust emotional foundation for the city.
