• Thailand International Boat Show 2026 to Anchor Thailand’s Status as Asia’s Premier Yachting and Luxury Lifestyle Hub

    11 August 2025

Thailand is set to welcome the fourth edition of the Thailand International Boat Show (TIBS)  A Luxury Lifestyle Event from 15–18 January 2026 at Phuket Yacht Haven Marina, one of Southeast Asia’s most prestigious superyacht marinas.

Located in northern Phuket, the venue offers world-class facilities and a stunning natural backdrop, aligning with the organisers’ vision to position Thailand as the epicentre of Asia’s luxury maritime lifestyle.

“We are thrilled to announce Phuket Yacht Haven Marina as the official venue for the 2026 Thailand International Boat Show,” said David Hayes, CEO of JAND Events. “This location perfectly supports our goal of showcasing Thailand as a world-class yachting destination and a hub for luxury living in Asia.”

The show has become a powerful catalyst for Thailand’s marine industry, generating over 1 billion baht annually. With a growing global reputation, the event aims to expand its footprint by featuring more and larger vessels, increasing superyacht presence, and enhancing lifestyle offerings to attract international visitors and investors.

Southeast Asia is emerging as the next global yachting hotspot, following the Caribbean and Mediterranean. Thailand, with its award-winning marinas, exceptional hospitality, and unmatched flight connectivity, stands out as the region’s crown jewel. The Andaman Sea and Gulf of Thailand offer breathtaking cruising grounds, complemented by world-class amenities onshore.

“Yachting in Thailand is on the rise,” said Benjamin Tabuteau, Vice President of the Thai Yachting Business Association. “Our marine industry is growing by approximately 10% annually, driven by increasing interest in destinations like Phuket, Krabi, Samui, and Pattaya. With strong infrastructure and natural beauty, Thailand is poised for continued growth.”

The 2026 Thailand International Boat Show will showcase:

    • Over 70 sail and motor yachts from leading global brands
    • Expanded superyacht displays targeting Ultra and High Net Worth Individuals
    • Cutting-edge marine technology, water toys, and eco-friendly innovations
    • Luxury lifestyle exhibits including real estate, automobiles, and gourmet experiences
    • Networking events and high-level industry forums

This curated showcase will reflect the full spectrum of the modern yachting lifestyle—from sustainable solutions to high-end indulgence—making the 2026 edition the most dynamic and forward-looking yet.

Complementing the show is the Thailand Yachting Conference, held on 14 January 2026. The conference will bring together industry leaders, government officials, educators, and enthusiasts for expert-led sessions on topics of national and international relevance.

Together, the Thailand International Boat Show and Thailand Yachting Conference will elevate Thailand’s profile as a premier luxury destination, driving growth in tourism, investment, and the marine sector.

“This isn’t just about putting on a show—it’s about creating a platform for real growth and collaboration in the leisure marine industry across the region, and putting Thailand at the very heart of that,” added Hayes.

Thousands of visitors and exhibitors from around the world are expected to attend, reinforcing Thailand’s appeal as a year-round destination for yachting, luxury, and lifestyle.
