The Phoenix TV International Media Center project designed by Hong Kong based HEAD Architecture and Design has won the fiercely contested title of World’s Best Interior Design at the 2017 International Property Awards. The project was one of over 1700 entries from 115 countries, scrutinised by a judging committee, which is chaired by four UK Lords as well as over 80 global experts.
Based in Beijing, the Phoenix TV International Media Center interior was designed with a single continuous concept from the circular news desk to the curving walkways, which were inspired by the zig zag bridges of classical Chinese gardens.
The Mercury Tower project based in Moscow has won the fiercely contested title of World’s Best Property at the 2017 International Property Awards. This winning skyscraper – The Mercury Tower is located in the Moscow International Business Centre and is one of Europe’s tallest building at 338.8 metres. The structure is highly recognisible because of its beautiful golden glass facade. The tower serves as a multipurpose building with housing, offices and shops and has five underground floors.
The Landmark 81 project in Vietnam, designed by British project management consultancy Atkins Global has won the fiercely contested title of World’s Best Architecture at the 2017 International Property Awards. The project was one of over 1700 entries from 115 countries, scrutinised by a judging committee, which is chaired by four UK Lords as well as over 80 global experts.
The winning 81-storey development is located in Vinhomes Central Park – one of the prime locations in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Landmark 81 was designed by British design, engineering and consulting firm Atkins. Standing at a height of over 460m it is the tallest building in Vietnam. Featuring a modern and unusual architecture design that symbolises the diversity and fast-emergence of Ho Chi Minh City, this mixed-use development involves space for hotel, serviced residential apartment and retail. At the base of this skyscraper is a sumptuous shopping centre featuring the finest retailers under one roof for a top-class shopping experience.
The awards, now in their 25th year, are the world’s largest and most wide-ranging programme of honours within the property industry. Covering 48 different residential and commercial categories, regional heats are staged for Arabia, Europe, Africa, Canada, Central & South America, the Caribbean, USA, UK and Asia Pacific. These have been celebrated at gala presentation events in Bangkok, Dubai, London and Toronto during the course of the year.

The International Property Awards, which recognises the finest property, architecture and interior design in the world, held a glittering gala dinner and awards ceremony in London at The Savoy Hotel on 4th December. The awards were presented by Stuart Shield, President, International Property Awards and The Earl of Liverpool.
