• Retail Asia Expo 2015 Sets to Inspire Industry as the Digital and Physical Retail Worlds Combine

    Retail Asia Expo (RAE) 2015, is once again gearing up to provide a retailing experience with more solutions to the retailing community.     On the evening of 9 June, the 2015 Hong Kong Retail Industry Trade Awards will be presented at the Retail Asia Expo Gala Dinner. As this local industry’s most prestigious annual awards, the HKRIT Awards celebrate innovative leaders and their contribution to Hong Kong’s retail sector. Awards will be presented in three categories: Industry Super Retailer, Small Business Retailer, and Community Retailer.

    The Gala Dinner will also bring the much-anticipated announcement of the winners of the 2015 Top 10 eCommerce Website Awards. Organised by GS1 Hong Kong and Retail Asia Expo, the awards recognise websites that have raised the bar for user experience and achieved phenomenal sales growth. The awards also provide an opportunity to showcase how online technologies are impacting Asia’s wider retail scene.

    Free Seminars on Retail Technology, Design and Marketing

    More than 30 free seminars will be held during the Expo, covering industry hot topics such as security, supply chain solutions, retail design, interactive shopping, e-commerce, loyalty programs, interactive devices and China-focused expansion. Global suppliers and trendsetters will offer technology updates, insights into the latest and best products, and innovative ideas to inspire retailers to transform their stores, improve efficiency, save cost and increase sales.

    Tommy Li is an award-winning Hong Kong designer whose work is renowned across China, Japan and Italy. As one of the few Asian designers to have penetrated the international market, Tommy will share his secrets to creating an original and impactful branding strategy.

    • The High-End Shopping Mall Design Forum

    Co-organized with PRC Magazine, the forum will discuss how high-end mall design can deliver increased value to retailers in Asia. Some of the region’s leading architects will share their views on creating must-see destinations for the modern shopper, with a focus on future retail design trends.     Omni-Channel Retailing Conference

    Held alongside Retail Asia Expo from 9 to 10 June, the Omni-Channel Retailing Conference is a platform for industry leaders to discuss strategies and best practices and share insights.

    Attendees will hear how industry bellwethers create superior shopping experiences and engage customers in a seamless, integrated way across various channels and touch points. They will examine new strategies and solutions to manage evolving technologies, social media trends and changing consumer expectations. They will also dive into specific Asia Pacific markets to consider how to tailor approaches for unique challenges and opportunities.

    Retail Asia Expo 2015 and the Omni-Channel Retailing Conference will be held at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre from 9 to 11 June and 9 to 10 June, respectively.
