• Finalists Announced for MIPIM Asia Awards 2026

    30 October 2026

33 finalists from seven markets compete across 11 categories, including two new categories for logistics and data centres, and for social impact and infrastructure.

Winners will be announced at the MIPIM Asia Awards Gala Dinner in Hong Kong on 3 December.

MIPIM Asia Summit, the property leaders’ summit in Asia Pacific, has unveiled the 33 finalists across 11 categories for this year’s MIPIM Asia Awards, celebrating Asia’s most visionary real estate projects, both built and in the making, pushing the boundaries of innovation, sustainability and forward-thinking vision.

A 19-member expert jury of senior investors and developers selected the finalists from over 100 submissions received from across the continent, including Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore and Taiwan. Hong Kong and mainland China dominate the shortlist with 22 combined finalists, with Japan also well represented with five.

Amongst this year’s finalists, Hong Kong International Airport’s Terminal 2 has been recognised in the new Best Social Impact & Infrastructure Project category, anchored by its iconic “feather roof” design. In the Best Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure Project category, Patina Osaka, bringing unique context within a 1,400-year-old imperial palace archaeological site, has been shortlisted. Returning after securing Gold in 2023, Hangzhou’s Westlake 66 is a finalist for Best Retail Project, comprising a 550-metre-long “urban cell wall” facade with metal accents and terracotta details.

For its 20th edition, MIPIM refreshed the awards categories to reflect where capital is moving across the region. Best Industrial, Logistics & Data Centers recognises data centres as one of the defining investment stories in Asia Pacific. Best Social Impact & Infrastructure reflects the growing role of public-private partnership in civic projects such as stadiums, airports and cultural venues. Best Living expands the scope beyond residential to include serviced living, while Best Urban Resilience and Best City Scale Development recognise climate adaptation and a project’s contribution to the wider city, not just its size.

MIPIM Asia Awards Jury Chair, Justin Chiu, said:

“The jury was highly impressed by the quality and ambition of this year’s shortlisted projects, which reflect an evolving approach to growth, resilience and placemaking across Asia. Together, they represent a new standard for the MIPIM Asia Awards, recognising developments that are redefining what real estate can achieve.

“The 33 shortlisted projects showcase everything from a landmark new development and a next-generation urban ecosystem to the innovative adaptive reuse of a heritage building. Each project demonstrates how the built environment can help create stronger, more resilient and economically dynamic communities for the future.”
