On 29 May 2026 distinguished guests and member of Lighthouse Club Hong Kong gathered at The China Club for The Ruby Affair, the Branch’s 40th Anniversary cocktail event, the closing event of the Hong Kong Branch’s 40th Anniversary celebrations.
For four decades, Lighthouse Club Hong Kong has been a driving force behind fellowship, safety and benevolence within the construction industry. Bringing together professionals from across the sector, the Club supports charitable initiatives, promotes industry collaboration and champions the wellbeing of those who help build our communities. This milestone anniversary was a fitting celebration of that enduring legacy.
More than 140 industry leaders and friends turned The China Club into a sea of red for a night of style, connection and celebration as Lighthouse Club Hong Kong marked its 40th anniversary in unforgettable fashion.
A highlight of the evening was the official launch of United in Construction – Lighthouse Club Hong Kong 40th Anniversary with the Guest of Honour being Mr Ricky Lau, JP, Permanent Secretary for Development (Works), alongside Lighthouse Club HK President Ar Prof. Ada Fung, BBS. With live music, DJ beats, roaming magicians, flowing drinks and delicious canapés, the energy stayed high from start to finish. The lucky draw added even more excitement, raising over HK$14,000 for the Lighthouse Club Benevolent Fund and showcasing the industry’s generous spirit.
From Hong Kong to New Zealand, guests came together to honour the past, celebrate the present and look ahead to the future. Forty years strong, and still building connections, supporting communities and making a difference. Here’s to the next chapter.
