The living wall is in located in the showroom of Tokyo’s Young Living Essential Oils, which specialises in essential oils and oil-infused nutritional supplements. Ten pieces of Traxon Nano Liner XB-27 RGB have been used to illuminate the living wall of dried lavender, which is Young Living Essential Oils’ most popular fragrant essential oil. The lighting system adds extra colour and texture to the living wall experience. The lighting system is proving a drawcard for clients visiting the showroom by providing an interactive experience. Visitors can play a selection of themed, pre-programmed lighting effects including rainbow colour changing and summer breeze, due to Butler XT2 and Glass Touch T12 user interface technology enabled by e:cue. The living wall can also be customised for various promotions. The living wall project has received numerous awards including the JCD Design Award Best 100, the DSA Award 2014, and the SDA Award 2014.

A sophisticated yet modern setting was derived by juxtaposition of Indochine-Vietnamese features and wood-fire inspired material palettes. Re-interpretation of the spatial order of a typical Indochine-Vietnamese mansion has been adopted to give hierarchy, layers and details to the space.
