(23 November 2023, Hong Kong) The highly anticipated 2023 GRESB Regional Insights: Hong Kong event (“the Event”), co-organized by Allied Sustainability and Environmental Consultants Group Limited (“AEC Group” or the “Company”; Stock Code: 8320.HK; together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) and Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) , and co-hosted by Greater Bay Area Carbon Neutrality Association (GBACNA), was successfully held on November 23, 2023 at ESG Innovation Lab, Central, Hong Kong. Almost 100 participants including ESG leaders from HK and the region joined the Event sharing ideas to resolve global climate and environmental challenges.

Mr. Trey Archer, Asia Director of Business Development of GRESB, emphasized that regional participation in GRESB and a focus on monitoring ESG performance is becoming increasingly important in Hong Kong and China. Ms. Pooja Changani, Manager, Member Relations Asia-Pacific of GRESB stated, “We are delighted to be working with AEC Group to organize the Regional Insights Event in Hong Kong and delve deeper into the 2023 Benchmark Results for Asia, Hong Kong, and China.” Both GRESB representatives expressed that they learned more about the region’s ESG concerns after meeting with the Event’s leaders individually, and the networking session enabled us to gather timely insights from managers and investors that will help us further develop the benchmark to support the achievement, sustaining, and advancement of green financing.
