• Knight Frank announces new Managing Director of Professional Services, Greater China

    Knight Frank Hong Kong today announces the appointment of Clement Lau as the Managing Director of Professional Services for Greater China based in Hong Kong, effective 14 October 2024. Clement Lau will succeed Alnwick Chan, who will retire from his role in March 2025 after a remarkable 27-year tenure with the company. Alnwick will continue to share his invaluable insights and expertise as a Senior Consultant, ensuring a smooth transition and ongoing support for the business.

    Clement Lau is a seasoned industry leader with an illustrious career in real estate, holding pivotal roles across both private and public sectors. His expertise extends beyond Hong Kong, covering the Chinese mainland, regional and international markets. Prior to joining Knight Frank, he served as the Director & Head of Development and Valuations, Commercial Property at Hongkong Land Limited, where he managed the commercial property portfolio, driving growth and excellence through strategic planning, operations, and market analysis.  His leadership and expertise were further recognised when he was elected as President of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in 2021-2022, a testament to his commendable achievements in the industry. 

    In his new role at Knight Frank Greater China, Clement will oversee Planning & Land Advisory Services, Valuations & Advisory, Building Consultancy, Property Asset Management, and Research & Consultancy teams. He will also join the Greater China Executive Board and contribute to the company’s strategic direction.
