• Zuellig Building earns USGBC Platinum

    28 August 2013

_DSC6566Developed by Bridgebury Realty Corporation, in July the US Green Building Council (USGBC) awarded the Zuellig Building certification at Platinum level under its Leadership for Energy and Environmental Design (Core and Shell) (LEED-CS) program.

It is the first development in the Philippines and among the first in Asia, to earn the highest level in the LEED rating system for “green” architecture, sustainable construction methodologies and resource-efficient building operations.

The project team brought together local and international experts including SOM’s New York office as the design consultant.

Glass is used as the primary expressive material for the building. Structural sealants, low-emissivity coatings and ceramic frit patters allow for a comfortable interior environment while permitting the maximum penetration of light into the building’s interior whilst showcasing the city’s spectacular views.

Located in the heart of the Makati Central Business District, in Metro Manila, Philippines, Zuellig Building is a 33-story premium office tower providing approximately 65,000m2 of Grade-A office space and approximately 2,000m2 of retail area, with parking facilities for approximately 700 vehicles.

It brings together a superb location, world-class design and green technologies to rank as Metro Manila’s premier business address.
